Last weekend

Last weekend was anita's cousin's reception. It was at the Platinum suite in Leicester, which is deceivingly very nice inside.












A good time was had.

The rest of the weekend was more DIY. Hanging doors involves a lot more than one would think!!

Oh, and the garden fences are now up and a nice new red cedar colour.

New Porch

Now that we've moved in to our newly decorated bedroom, we're now looking forward to seeing our finished porch....although I won't be able to christen the new toilet until the new sink arrives week commencing 6th July it all gets plumbed on then.

The Finished bedroom

Finally, since starting the walk-in wardrobe in Novemeber, I am pleased to say that the bedrrom is fully decorated and finished. Only waiting for the bed now, and then we can move in!

The Cruise....

Guys, we are finally back from the cruise, and we had a wicked time. Things didn't start off too well as my uncle sadly passed away a week or so before we were due to fly.

Anyway, once we'd got away we were able to take our minds of things at home and the ship certainly helped in that regard....it was HUGE!!!

(Not so) Happy (not so) New (anymore) Year

Well, that job I was going for is no longer available and so I am back to how I was at the start of the new Year. Oh well!

Heard a report by the Young Scientists about the claims made by various companies that sell "detox" products. I was never convinced by them and always thought that if they expect you to follow a healthy, calorie controlled diet, and drink plenty of water WITH their product, then surely, the majority of the benefit, if not all of it, is coming from the healthy, calorie controlled diet, and drink plenty of water?? In turns out I was right!!!

Oh, just been to watch Slumdog Millionaire. great film. Definitely worth watching. If you like City of God, then I think you'll like it. And, it is in english, not hindi as I thought it was in. go watch it.

Happy New Year

Well, happy new year guys. I hope you all had a good one. My Christmas was at the in laws'. New Years was a last minute production in York. Man that was a cold day; by far the coldest daytime I have experienced since my records began! It was great though.

I may be looking at a permanent job back in Leicestershire to work part-time. it will be good to be back in Leicester. I will keep you guys posted as to progress on that....
