Greetings from CTU

Hello all. CTU fever has hit again as I've just finished 6 'hours' of Series 5...Jack is back from the dead....

And finally, I have my Chaka Demus and Pliers album on my toy. Some brilliant tunes on there.

Oh, and finally....If you've got a Robert Dyas store, you can pick up Phillips energy saving bulbs for £1.29 each or 3 for 99p. Makes no sense, I know, but it's a bargain!

The Dark Knight...

...was awesome. In some respects, it wasn't obvious which bits were recorded with the iMax camera, but there were a few skyline shots that gave you the feeling that you were actually in the air about to fall off so these must have been the ones. A great film, but I'm not sure if justified being 2.5 hours long...but at least it was value for money.

Woktastic in brum is a good place. Just like Wagamamas but with a different name. For a change, I had the big bowl of soup with noodles....very impressive actually.

I've started doing press ups now and at the start of last week was able to do......one. I can now do 6 comfortably. I'll keep you posted.

I hope you enjoy the photos. More to be up there soon, that was just an experiment.

Later...

The Dark Knight...

A busy weekend.....with the highlight being the Dark Knight in the iMax on saturday.....will let you know how i get on.

Middle of August...

My God!! Where have I been? I've been around....after my short period of unemployment, I've done a stint in Farnham (Surrey), Reading and now in lovely Winchester. Looks like I'm going to be here until around November.

We managed to get one Aubergine out of the plants and loads of tomatoes....and they're still coming! Courgettes are coming out of your ears too....you should have seen the size of the last batch!

Anyway, I hope to keep this more up to date with lots of pictures too... Keep coming back..

peace.

my babies....

i just translplanted my aubergines into bigger pots and noticed first flower bud...it's so exciting...

Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you.

I finally got my palm TX repaired and am in the process of setting it up again...

Now, off to see Iron Man in a Digital Screen. Bye

1st day of unemployment...

First day of unemployment....and I might just try and enjoy the next 2 days and hope something comes up for next week.

Daytime TV is so crap though. Might just have to do some gardening instead. Sun is out. Catch you later...

A great idea

Finally found a website that helps with choosing a tradesman. So many times I've had some really crap service and can do nothing about it. The company doesn't care if i don't take my custom there again.....well now there's a way. I found a website from which you request quotes. The company contacts the relevant tradesman and get them to contcat you. Once you've used the services, you leave your feedback...

Obviously, it only works if more and more people use it, so i urge you to do so...

It's been a while...

Hi again. it's been a long time, so sorry for that! since the last post, lots has happened....but it's not worth trying to recount all that now!

Needless to say, we've moved in and settling in slowly. have even ordered and received our new sofa. Have even got our tv stand. Slowly getting there...

Beef of the day - Virgin Media Broadband helpline (at 25p per minute!). Beware of another indian call centre with a bunch of people that do not know what they're talking about.
